First take on “The Process” and we gooooo. The Process is a video series where we go out in the field and showcase creatives, hidden gems, and otherwise, future leaders of the industry. Through “The Process” I hope you see what it takes to develop, grow, as well as make it happen in your respective field, all while picking up a few tips that are specific to the trade.
I first was introduced to the Metrogreens family back in late 2019. At the time, a modest farm, done out of the backyard of Nick Long, owner & main harvester of Microgreens. Through the months we'd develop a friendship and discuss future plans and our goals that we set out on, and one of those for Nick, was acquiring a new location, fully equipped and dedicated to expanding the Metrogreen farm and the possibilities of what it could grow. I always find inspiration when I come across other folks out there getting it, trying to make their dreams happen, especially when I see and feel them putting in the work that it takes, and that is truly something Nick & the Metrogreens team have done.
Fast forward and the team is in a new location, a warehouse in fact, where they plan to continue growing, offering more greens & more knowledge to be kicked w/ visits to the farm. This video was filmed back in January, after the initial move, but you can expect a lot more videos, & progress as things continue along but as of now, follow as Nick teaches you how he plants, stores, and harvested the micros, uniquely crisp, to every order.
